Notifications are sent for various modules - Find out how to manage user notifications in this article.
What are notifications? When a specific action is completed on Prop Data Manage, for example, a new Valuation report has been added, users with Valuation approval access will automatically be sent a notification email. This will contain the basic information of what was completed and in some cases "action" buttons. Here is an email notification example below:
Prop Data Manage allows you to control which notifications users receive on a user-by-user basis. These are managed on the user record within the add and edit user forms. See the screenshot below to view the modules for which you can turn notifications on or off.
- By default, ALL notifications are turned ON.
- Only users with add/edit user permissions can perform these functions.
- Please note that at the time of publishing this article, not all modules seen below may be available.
Should you wish a user NOT to receive a specific notification, uncheck the corresponding checkbox/es and save the user record.
Bulk Edit Multiple Users
You may want to allocate the same set of notification rules for a group of users. This task can easily be completed by using our bulk-edit functionality.
Firstly, select the users you wish to update notifications for (you need to select more than one user for the Bulk Edit button to appear). When ready, click on the Bulk Edit button at the top right of the screen.
You will be presented with each module and the various notifications that are sent for that module. You need only edit the specific notifications you wish to turn on/off. In the example below we have turned Valuations Approval and Published notification emails No (Off).
Now click on Save User and the notification settings you have elected to turn to No/Yes (Off/On) will be applied to the users you selected.
